Pregnancy is a big deal, you guys. People are always talking about it and I think there are even a few books written about it. I don’t know any of them, of course. If it’s not in the Revisionist Historical Self Help section of the bookstore, it’s none of my business.
So when my lady friend got pregnant, I didn’t know how to handle it. I knew she was going through some sort of transformation, but what fascinated me the most was how the pregnancy was affecting me. Me.
In fact, I found what I had to go through so interesting that I wrote an amazing essay about it for Women’s Health magazine.
