One of the things I hate most in life is that when you become a parent, people think of you one dimensionally.
Here are some real things I have heard people say about me:
Oh, he’s just an amazing Daddy, he can’t be other things!
Being such a great Daddy, he must not have TIME to do or be anything else!
Sure, he’s a great Daddy – probably the best – but can he do anything else? I doubt it.
Well, I’m tired of it.
Not only am I a fantastic Daddy, I am also pretty good at organising my iTunes library. How many Daddies can say that? Zero.
And that’s not all!
I’m also an award-winning (someone should fact check that), world renowned (no need to fact check that) journalist. I go places and I meet people and I write all about it. It’s what I do and I won’t apologise for it (actually I’m happy to apologise for anything and everything).
For example, I recently had the opportunity to interview professional boxer Danny Green for The Sydney Morning Herald. He was an absolute delight and you should read it right now.
